Jose Mourinho was not compatible for Real Madrid pressure - Ramon Calderon

Few managers gradually become one of the finest to handle any kind of pressure residing in any ambience during their long running careers and Chelsea’s second term serving Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho is one such mentor who is famous for his innovative field spread along with using a well mix of young and experienced players. For that reason, Blues are leading the league table this season and credit solemnly goes to former Everton manager who has managed many top clubs in his lengthy career. Real Madrid is prominently one of them where he served for three seasons and let Spanish giant won Copa del Rey in his first and a La Liga title in his second year. Despite having been a successful mentor at Santiago Bernabéu he could not enhance his tenure over there and many blamed his bitter relationship with club bosses for the same. But former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has a completely different view over his career in Spain as he calls it a failure of the 52-year-old not to manage a side of Real caliber.

The 63-year-old talked about Mourinho stay during his interview given to BBC where he said, “To be a manager of Real Madrid is really, really difficult. See what happened to Mourinho. He is someone who is used to coping with pressure and he couldn’t. When left, things were in a really bad situation. He had to leave the club after three years of a lot of problems, a lot of confrontations.”

Though, it was a mutual decision to part ways, yet it was knowingly Mourinho failure to win tenth European title that made him unwanted asset at the hem. Calderon calls it his failure to not able to extend his career beyond three seasons, he added, “To be here more than two, three years is really a big task. I think has done a very good job, not only because he won the Champions League but because things are calm, relaxed and everything is smooth.

“I have read Joachim Low is one manager we would like, but it is always rumour and we will have the rumours until the next five months when it is decided whether definitely Ancelotti will be here.”

Those who know Portuguese would never accept the latest revelation made by the former Real manager since everyone has seen him ever delivering wherever he has been in his career; may it be Barcelona or Chelsea, though his relation with bosses have always been unpleasant.
