Jose satisfies with performance in Champions League

October 24, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Chelsea has surely become more promising ever since their former Jose Mourinho has joined them, and this visible change continues on their European tour as well. Though, their start was not so appealing, but they somehow manage to come back in form and topped the Group E which also ensures they will qualify for the knockout stage – something that looked to be a distanced dream initially. How confident they are growing is obvious with their commanding 3-0 victory over Schalke in the Champions league. Jose admires his team’s confident comeback after a dismissible 2-1 loss to Basel at Stamford Bridge which had sunned their chances to advance to second stage, but now, 50-year-old Portuguese is jubilant by looking Blues run in EPL as well in CL. How he could do that? Or what the magic words he used to rejuvenate his team? Actually, he did nothing but shown the real picture to teammates and asked them how we should reverse the things. He revealed the cult words he said to his team after inaugural loss on European tour, “I told players after match against Basel we did garbage and we have to clean it. We did it in the best possible way – two away wins and leading the group. We now have two matches at home. We are in a good position to qualify.”

Fernando Torres, the twenty-nine-year old forward, impressed everyone with his double and motivated others to match him on the field. Jose commented about him and said, “He’s a hard worker. He’s not someone who hangs behind the fee Chelsea paid for him.” While talking about his own aggression shown on the field during Blues’ controversial 4-1 win at Stamford Bridge, he added, “What the referee wrote is true. I was not aggressive, I was not offensive. I just had a disagreement. That in the game is resolved with ‘shut up and sit down’, don’t need to go to the stands. I accept the fine and against Manchester City I can work.”

Actually, things are slowing backing towards normal at Stamford Bridge right from their performances on the field and how they need to interact with media or anyone else to secure their internal piece as outside world keep raising rumors linking top players with rival clubs. Looking at the vibes, Portuguese is confident his side can rule both English as well European silverwares to their tally and this is why he was called back by the North London club!
