Luis Suarez, the twenty six year old Uruguayan striker, has become a hot cake for Liverpool ever since he said that he wants to make a shift. In fact, there are many clubs who seem to be interested in the striker, but as of now only Arsenal has put on an open bid for him. Reportedly, Gunners have offered a price in the range of £30m which is of no interest for the Reds. Actually, EPL club has long been saying Suarez is not available for sale still reports kept coming that Chelsea or even Spanish giant Real Madrid is interested in the Uruguayan. Rumors also in the air that Anfield club only wants to part away with the forward if he himself explicitly makes a formal request, and in that case, Rodgers’ club would like to encash their beauty with a maximum figure – something in the range of £50m which is more than double of what they paid for him to Ajax back in 2011. It would also be interested to see how Liverpool denies Real’s interest who is known for spending exaggerated amounts on desired players. This is not about if they want to sell him or not, coz it is all about what the figure they are being offered by interested clubs, and if a £50m deal price can force them to change their mind, it is very much expected to happen very soon.
Secondly, Brendan Rodgers is also not in a hurry to let his hot cake departed coz he knows he will get a preferred amount from Arsenal or Real. However, as far Wenger’s club is concerned, he is not likely to surge his offered price as he has already finalized a deal for Real’s Gonzalo Higuain; hence, there is no way he can afford to spend another £50m this summer. Suarez has just finished his international duty playing for Uruguayan national soccer team in Confederation cup and next couple of weeks are crucial as far his makeshift is concerned. He has been in good form last season despite facing a six matches’ ban for his violent conduct with Branislav Ivanovic. It was not the first time he faced a disciplinary proceeding against him coz he was also slapped with eight matches ban for racially abusing United’s Patrice Evra back in 2011. Anyway, he scored 30 goals in the season with some remarkable performances which put him on the radar of some wealthy clubs.
Let us see if he finally manages to make a shift or remains with his old charm Liverpool.
