June 19, 2014 by 888Scoreonline

Showing a thorough care for playing and non-playing staff, three English Premier League clubs: Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City have signed a three years deal with leading health insurance providers: PruHealth and PruProtect. According to the deal both insurers will promote their flagship products healthy lifestyle insurance and a unique rewards product Vitality for three years starting upcoming league season. The aim to sign this deal is to spread an awareness among players about living a healthy lifestyle and all the playing and non-playing staff would be served with world class services by both the sponsors, including offering a consultation to aware about how to live a good life; keeping in mind a longer soccer career. Similarly, non-playing staff would also be introduced with tons of useful information both in England and outside about how to take care of players and themselves. In return, both these sponsors would use team’s official t-shirt to promote their products along with using players in their advertisements for next three years. The amount involved in the deal is not clear but according to close sources, it is not fully in cash, perhaps a mix of cash and reward based on number of new fans who buy the product.

Significantly, this deal covers both men and women soccer teams offering a parallel opportunity to grow women players, hence answering all the critics who have long been accusing English clubs to ignore their women teams for men dominance. With this deal, players would an exclusive access to PruHealth and PruProtect’s Vitality program which is a rewards program aimed towards spreading healthy lifestyle among buyers. Talking about the deal, CEO of PruHealth and Vitality: Neville Koopowitz, said, “We believe in the power of sport to help inspire people to live a healthy life, which is why we partner with leading sports figures, teams and events to help us spread the Vitality message.

“Our collaboration with some of the top teams in the country, is the latest move in our goal of changing the game when it comes to people’s health. (Our Vitality program) helps people understand how they can improve their own personal health. Vitality makes it cheaper and easier for its members to get healthy and gives them rewards to keep them motivated, through a range of discounts and incentives.”

Both the sponsors can now use transfer windows players’ movement and their medical tests to highlight their products both in winter and summer. Likewise, new players would also be having an access of world class medical support backed up by these products, so it is a win-n-win situation for both clubs and insurance partners!
