Mancini could offer Balotelli another chance

January 13, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Mario Balotelli

Italian striker Mario Balotelli is one player who could not prove his soccer brilliance at Carrington ever since he joined Manchester City. Moreover, it is not his playing abilities which cost city, but his attitude towards the game that has been a great concern for the City. Now, according to rumors, he may be given another chance to prove his conviction towards soccer and especially for City by calling him for the next City clash at Arsenal. Everybody remembers his irresponsible gameplay in the last season where his reckless behavior almost cost City an EPL title. Moreover, he has seen fighting with manager Mancini in the training ground last week, so everybody thought he would never play for the city again. But, luck seems to be in his side and that is why Sergio Aguero could not recover from his hamstring injury which gave a hope for Balotelli’s return right on time. Balotelli is the only player who has been in the news for wrong reasons – always. It may be his match performances or his behavior that proved to be costly for Manchester City every now and then.

Now, it is sure that he will be in the final squad of the team for Sunday clash. It is not very far behind when City was looking for his probable buyers; perhaps AC Milan also offered around £24m bid for the striker, but even then, manager refused to sell him citing City never sell its players. So, the ‘Rotten Apple’ seems to have a comeback for the same club who earlier appeared to be unhappy with his performances both in-field and off the field.

Likewise, City manager Mancini looks in full support of Balotelli and prays that his current year would be different than last year. Balotelli, who attended the training with a new bleached-blond hairstyle, was in the notice of manager who said, “He has trained well and I hope this year will be different.” Actually, City is eyeing on the EPL title this season coz they are just seven points behind of top leader Manchester United and there are 17 matches still to go by. If Balotelli could prove his presence by his power pack gameplay, things could have been different in no time for the City.

Out of the blue, Balotelli has received a parking fine yet again yesterday when his £160,000 Bentley was found parked at a wrong place. Looks he is the right person to wear a t-shirt saying, “Why always me?”
