After lots of media coverage for his apparent spat with Barcelona bosses, Lionel Messi is ready to enter into the field again after recovering from injury. He doesn’t need any introduction why he was out and how he is playing these days, coz he has always been in the headlines for different reasons, including his recent makeshift rumors that stunned soccer fraternity. It has been more than three months he has not shared the pitch for his persisting thigh muscle injury this season, in fact, it was his injuries that led him down this year otherwise he has been one of the finest soccer talents in contemporary soccer. Recently, after Barca signed Brazilian young sensation Neymar, Messi’s cold war with him gained lots of media space though none of them accepted any difference in the public, but after his agent asked for a contract revision and club bosses denied to offer him the same, their relations went onto a bitter side.
He has been in his native country for last few months for complete recovery and went through several treatment techniques including traditional ones. Now, he claims to have been ready to face the challenge again and landed in Catalonia to join his teammates. However, at the moment, Barcelona camp has not hinted they would immediately add him into the team coz they don’t want to risk him promptly. Barca issued a statement and revealed the progress over Messi, it reads as, “Leo Messi landed in Barcelona this afternoon and went directly to the Ciutat Esportiva to meet up with his teammates and get fitted for new boots ahead of the team’s training session. Messi, who has yet to be declared match fit, took part in the team’s second training session of the day.”
Similarly, another player goalie Victor Valdes is also ready to return to protect their goalpost; he was out of the play since November after his calf injury during a match in South Africa. Barca also stated about him and said, “Today is full of good news for FC Barcelona. After this afternoon’s training session, Victor Valdes was given the green light to return to competitive football. Therefore, he’s available for selection for this Sunday’s match against Elche.”
So, next few weeks could be full of fireworks in Spain when Messi joins back the team and media exuberantly highlights his recent transfer rumors.
