Even though Manchester United has been in the news off late for their high profile singings, yet its manager Jose Mourinho seems to have not been done with his summer signings as he confirmed once again that Red Devils are looking for one more player before premier league season takes off.
Knowingly ManU will face Bournemouth in the away game on Aug. 14 and Portuguese wants to complete his summer signings by then, however, he as well did not hint if Paul Pogba is the man he is aspiring for. Former Chelsea mentor revealed his desire for one more player in his twitter handle where he said, “We will sign one more player!” and everyone is linking his thirst with the Juventus player who is reportedly been going to become the highest paid soccer player in history after few media houses reported Old Trafford has agreed for over hundred million amount to bring back their former baby. Anyways, if it ever happens, it would be Mourinho fourth signee this transfer window after sealing the deals for Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Although the much talked about deal seems to have been in doubt after Pogba’s recent TV interview where he hints he could stay with his current side which raised shadow of doubts over his arrival at Old Trafford. Anyways, talking about his desire to bring one more player in the light of possible failure to bring in Pogba back, 53-year-old said to BT Sport ahead of their Everton game in Wayne Rooney’s testimonial on Wednesday, “We will sign one more player for sure. I don’t want to speak about Paul, because he’s a Juventus player. I don’t like to talk about other clubs’ players and I don’t like it when they talk about my players. The reality is that we are going to sign one more player. The deadline is Aug. 31 and we have plenty of time to do that, but we would like to do that before the Premier League starts.”
Apparently something has wrong among ManU and Juventus over 23-year-old’s switch that is why we are having completely opposite media news about their earlier agreements which was almost done verbally and now Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has tweeted last Friday, “Journalist = parrots. No deal done between clubs. It’s a game between Italy press and UK press who announce it first and who is worse.”
