Brazilian starlet Neymar has been in the news ever since he signed a mega million deal for Catalan side; even today, everything he does on or off the field becomes a news for media houses thanks to the reputation he has earned right in the initial stage of his career. Next La Liga season is around the corner, and everyone is eagerly waiting to see him playing alongside Messi, but at the moment, there is a small obstacle as he is reportedly suffering from anemia, however, his doctors have not hinted any seriousness to his condition and that is why he was seen in the training session for Barca upcoming matches against Thailand national side. Striker revealed to have been suffering from the disease during his pre-season tour to Asia, but since ailment was under control that time, he did not inform to anyone. Actually, he has not sustained too many injuries during last few months, though he went through a small operation to remove his tonsils just after the Confederation cup. Earlier, coach did not expect him on the training ground but when he joined them, Gerardo Martino praised his commitment for his new home.
Playing for Barcelona, he has been seen on the pitch for two times: first time he was on the ground against Lechia Gdansk in Poland last Tuesday and second match he imparted in, though just for 45 minutes, was a Joan Gamper Trophy match against his former club Santos at the Nou Camp on Friday. Looking his almost absenteeism from the scene, it is highly doubtful that coach will pick him for their next friendlies against Thailand or Malaysian XI until he fully recovers from weakness.
On the other side, Neymar is as always enthusiastic and ready to face any challenge despite his ongoing treatment; he said during a presentation ceremony of his Nike shoes, “I’m better. I’m receiving treatment from doctors but now I feel fine and I am ready to train. It’s true that after the tonsil operation there were a few complications but now I’m feeling better. I hope to adapt as soon as possible and I hope this is a very special year for me.”
Off course, upcoming Spanish league season is one of the most awaiting ones for the Brazilian and he would surely like to put his full caliber to deliver what Barca bosses had expected from him.
