It is quite satisfying when you are heading towards the next stage in the world cup in a preplanned manner, perhaps, Brazil is the only team who has not faced any surprise during the first round of FIFA event and this is what seems to be nourishing both coach Luiz Felipe Scolari and star forward Neymar’s moral who has now become the most decorated player in the Brazil team. Look at their last game with Cameroon where they dominated the whole ninety minutes with unceasing goals in quick intervals and Neymar who scored twice in the game is way optimistic for their world cup hopes, in fact hosts are now on the top of Group A with two wins and one draw – without losing any game till now! Experts are also taking this phase as the most distracting for the host coz most of the players can easily loose the charm of win; hence coach is not taking any chance and uninterruptedly persuading each team member to perform even better with every game coming by. Keeping the title on the target, Neymar said over their show until now, “I think the main thing is that the team, as a whole, had our best match. We managed to attack as we wanted and everyone deserves to be complimented because we played to deserve the score. We are on the right track and are progressing.”
Talking about their dynamic approach to win first world cup at home in last five decades, Scolari also talked about other in-form players like Fred and Fernandinho who also scored in the last game with Africans, however as far resistance is concerned, 22-year-old defender Joël Matip offered some opposition when he scored a goal in the first half else the game was thoroughly in control of South Americans. Taking known crowd and playing at home as an advantage, Scolari added, “We are feeling very comfortable in Brazil. Brazil has been treating us with such tenderness and is so friendly wherever we go. There is so much motivation from our fans and we feel at home anywhere. Even when we’ve not been playing well, the support we receive is incredible.
“Things evolve step by step and this is what we’re trying to plant. We are progressing on an everyday basis and in every match. Even with some difficulties to score goals, we scored four goals, but could have scored seven or eight. We have improved compared to the match against Mexico.”
