Neymar vs. Messi, who’s the best

Messi vs. Neymar

There have always been many different views about who is the ruling champion of soccer. While most of us have a strong feeling that Messi is the undisputed king of today’s football, if not of all time, but ex-Brazilian legendry Pele has a different opinion about the best soccer player of the world title, and that is, his own national, young and promising, Neymar da Silva Santos Junior, known as just Neymar. Today, he is celebrating his 21st birthday, and rumors are again started to make a comparison between him and other legendry champions of soccer, including Messi, Ronaldo, and old time star Maradona. Neymar plays for Brazil and Santos; he is an absolute master of ball flicks perhaps no one can forget his rainbow flick which was mind-blowing and stunning for soccer fans. According to Pele, Neymar is a much better player than Messi; the only thing that Messi edges to him, is the experience otherwise there is no comparison among two. Many Brazilian have already started naming Neymar as the next Pele, while Messi, who has always been compared to Madonna, is better known as today’s Maradona.

Quoting about Neymar and Messi, Pele recently said, “There’s always this Maradona comparison, saying that he’s better than Pele. Now some are saying that Messi is better than Pele. Well, he has to be better than Neymar first, which he isn’t yet. He has more experience.” He was supported by Ronaldinho, another Brazilian star and two times FIFA World Player of the Year, he added, “Messi for the last three or four years has been the best player in the world — he has been at a level of consistency I don’t think the world has seen before. Neymar is young, though, and I can’t explain how special he will become. In the next two or three seasons he will become the best player.”

Argentinean legendry Maradona is quite unhappy with this assessment as he still believes Messi should not be compared with Neymar at the moment, coz he has to prove himself for two to three more years only then he will be with a record to make a comparison. Moreover, he recently funnily quoted, “If Neymar is the best soccer play of the world, then Messi would surely be from other planet.” Anyways, the comparison continues and we will surely see some breath-taking soccer actions in the coming world cup when both these players will be in front of each other.
