No question of doubting Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar: Luis Enrique

January 12, 2017 by 888Scoreonline

Barcelona has ever been one of the toughest sides to overcome in Europe and it is also true that this club has always had the best mix of finest soccer talent. Right now, they are enjoying the services of one of the most lethal trio in contemporary soccer comprising Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar.

These three players have proved in almost every match why they can never be deceived by opponents thanks to the fine tuning they enjoy inside the field. Having a dependence on few concentrated players also has a drawback that is if somehow they fail to deliver in any crucial game, they are put in the air and lambasted for not creating opportunities for other players. This season when Barca looks not to be in its best form, fans are pointing their eyebrows over the trio silently questioning why their side is not on the top of the table.

Club manager Luis Enrique is the first one to defend his players and refuses to blame the trio for not taking the top leaderboard spot. Recently, Enrique accepted that their ranking on the board depends upon how Real loses its points and offers Barca an opportunity to surge on the board which was criticized by the expert later. Talking in the press conference post Copa del Rey 3-1 win over Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday, 46-year-old Spanish boss said, “We live in a world full of exaggerations and if the MSN have to prove themselves then we can switch off and go home. If they don’t score then they create goals. They’re key players. You can’t have any doubts about them, it would be ridiculous.”

Adding about the performance of his trio where Suarez began scoring and then Neymar doubled the home side’s lead from the penalty spot and last one was fired via free kick from Messi, Enrique said, “Tell me a game when Messi’s not been decisive. I hope he’s here for a long time. There’s no one like him. He’s not only unique in terms of goals, but also in making his teammates better. The image my team have shown in these last three games is improved on 2016. They make me very proud as a manager.

“I’ve seen similar things in all the games. We’ve been in control of the play. Today, for example, Athletic had practically no chances. It makes me optimistic for what I see in training and when we compete. We weren’t switched on for the goal and we were penalised. We’re in a run where it takes very little for us to concede a goal and then we’re not effective after that, but I’m sure that it will pass.”
