Now a National Football Center in England Too

October 10, 2012 by 888Scoreonline

National Football Center - St. George's Park

After losing its touch in international soccer field, England’s soccer think tanks have taken an initiative to improve their inside infrastructure that could develop young soccer talent to serve England on an international level. England has lost its reign as a top international soccer team in recent years; hence it has now decided to follow the same path as France and Spain did in recent past to improve their soccer level, i.e., England, now, to have a National Football center that is built with an investment of one million pound precisely. Prince William and his wife, the duo who are known for their sport’s love, opened the multimillion football facility. This facility has recently been used by young soccer players on test basis, but for the first time, this has been made available for senior players formally. Actually, this is the official launch of a highly ambitious project by Football founders. England has to face San Marino and Poland in its world cup qualifiers in next two weeks and its national players are supposed to take full advantage of this high tech training facility that is made available to them.

In recent times, France and Spain have proven the importance and effectiveness of a national sport academy, perhaps; these two nations have reached from nowhere to the top in just ten years of thorough reconstruction of their national soccer academies. England, who has given a most popular sport to the world, has long been missing such kind of a national level soccer facility despite hosting top soccer leagues every year. English National Football center has been developed at about 100 miles from central London which is now a permanent base of all 24 national football players along with their coach, trainers, and other medical staff. This facility has state of the art modern infrastructure which is the hybrid version of both traditional and scientific gaming approaches.

David Sheepshanks, the chairman of the center and the former head of England’s Football League, said on the occasion, “People have asked me do we believe St. George’s Park will help England win the World Cup? The answer, categorically, is yes.” He further added, “I think we will generate more Lionel Messis and Cristiano Ronaldos in years to come.”

“This place is a place to inspire young people and young coaches.”

“We are investing in the teachers so that we can get ahead of what they are doing in France and Spain.”

Despite its fifth rank, England is very much hopeful to have another golden era of their soccer supremacy.
