How far some desperate soccer fans can go is showcased by Dynamo Moscow’s fans when they fired their own club players during a training session outside Moscow. The event took place on Friday when a group of peoples started firing barrage of paintballs on players and staff. The instance took everyone in a shock coz of a sudden and risky behavior of its own fans. Notably, the fans targeted their own team coz of its poor performance this session. Perhaps, Dynamo could only place itself on 13th place out of 16 teams in total by losing eight matches out of elven played till date. Alan Gatragov, Dynamo midfielder, told a new agency here in Moscow about the whole incident and how it has affected them. Moreover, club is seeking every sort of legal help to find out the final culprits and force them to undergo a fair trial and probably punish them for their wrong doings.
Reportedly, this did not happen in a sudden coz fans were threatening players from last month via various means, perhaps, they also left a massage outside training facility that reads as, “If the club and the coaches can’t motivate you, then believe us, we will do it. We are the supporters and the fans. And our methods will be a little more serious.” Each of the players seems to be horrified at the moment; Gatragov also added in his statement given to R-Sport, “I’m still in shock. I have a small child at home, we’ve all got families. What if someone got seriously hurt? What would happen then? I will take advice from some people and decide whether to seek prosecution, because this was an attack.”
Coming Sunday, Dynamo has to play its next match against Mordovia Saransk, and obviously, players will not be able to concentrate completely coz of this unwanted attack on them. However, Police has been reported about the whole incident and they are investigating the case at the moment. Probably, police will very soon find out the group of peoples involved in this. Interestingly, these disappointed fans targeted foreign players more than domestic players and warned them to improve their performance else they will have face the consequences. Dynamo has a chain of foreign players including German striker Kevin Kuranyi, Australian Luke Wilkshire, and Ecuador’s Cristian Noboa among others. After this incident, they all are considering their future with the club, if they are not provided adequate security.
