Top French soccer club Paris Saint-Germain aka PSG has put a dot over rumors that it is after Mourinho and Ronaldo and both of them con become a part of it next summer. PSG’s sporting director Leonardo rubbished the reports citing PSG could offer €100 million to Real Madrid for both of them. However, according to rumor, La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that PSG owner has already met with Jorge Mendes – agent of both Mourinho and Ronaldo, and offered them a substantial amount. On the other side, Real Madrid is also not interested in selling either of its two star teammates though Ronaldo’s contract is yet to be renewed by them. There is other news in circulation that says, PSG has offered £80 million for Ronaldo alone which is one of the highest figures in recent times. On the contrary, Al Khelaifi, president of PSG, keeps saying that they are nowhere interested in any Real Madrid player, yet behind the scene news are suggesting something else is in the making.
It is known to everyone that Ronaldo’s current contract is near expiry, and there is no news from Real Madrid to renew it, but it never denied it too. Reportedly, there is a dispute for salary between these two, and that is why new contract is getting delayed. In case, if there no agreement happens between Real Madrid and Ronaldo, PSG’s attempt to sign him up looks feasible. But outside world would never come to know what is being cooked inside their den; who is meeting with whom until a public news surfaces the earth. A handsome figure is what Ronaldo could have been demanding from Real Madrid or PSG. While for Mourinho, there is a doubt, coz PSG already has some of the best coaches in the world, so it doesn’t look feasible that PSG would be interested in Mourinho at the moment. Even if, PSG shows its interest in Mourinho, it would just because it needs a backend coach which would not be replacing its current squad.
Furthermore, PSG has a repo to offer mouthwatering figures to players whom it is interested in, and it should not be a surprise if we hear in the morning that Ronaldo has been offered millions of dollars by PSG. Despite, all the hyperbole, it’s remained a secret if Real Madrid or PSG would like to have Mourinho and Ronaldo with them. Let’s wait and watch!
