English media is possibly the only media which do all the hard of managing players, officials of different sides every season. If you still don’t understand here is why we have to say this for them: recently few media houses reported that Manchester City could fire its non performing manager Manuel Pellegrini if he fails to defend his title while on the other day another media house suggested the name of Brendan Rodgers to take on the City job. It took them few hours to conclude the decision about who is going where even before City bosses could decide anything over Pellegrini. Nonetheless, Manchester giant is still at number two in the leaderboard and there is high probability that they will offer Chelsea a tough resistance even if they can’t stop Blues winning the 2014-15 league season. While on the other hand as far Rodgers’ future is concerned, he has already said over many occasions that he wants to serve Anfield side for long then don’t know how anyone can even try to convince fans about other things!
The 41-year-old Irish manager, however, showed his grief for not copying their last season form this year and this could be the reason someone got into conclusion he is looking for a switch while no one at the top of the club has confirmed or denied his transfer rumors. Calling the Reds as the biggest soccer hub to associate with, Rodgers said, “Where do you go from Liverpool? This is one of the biggest clubs in the world. I’ve signed a deal here and I want to be here to see that through, absolutely, for sure. And then I hope I’ve earned enough time to warrant another deal to keep growing and building here.
“I chose to come to Liverpool, because I hoped I could be here for many years. I’m very proud to be here and allowed to work. I know Jordan Henderson wants to be here at Liverpool. I’ve got no qualms about that.
“We’re trying to build something here, so Jordan knows the importance of his position here within the team. I hope he’s seen how he’s improved as a player in the last two-and-a-half years and he will want to continue with that improvement. He’s a boy who’s very happy here. I think it’s a separate thing for his agent and the club to sort out, and I know that’s what they’re looking to do.”
