Ever since the dismissal of Manchester United manager Van Gaal has been confirmed from club sources, the Old Trafford side has consistently been in the news not because they did outstandingly well in the last season but coz they are now infamous for firing and hiring their top mentors. As suggested by several sources, José Mourinho is going to lead the Red Devil in upcoming season but there are many elites of the game who believe even Portuguese would not be able to bring any change to ManU fate since he is similar to the Dutchman. One of them is 46-year-old retired Dutch midfielder Ronald de Boer who strongly believes former Everton boss has nothing special to deliver something extra. Since Ronald has played under Van Gaal at Ajax before joining him at Barcelona is known to be the most familiar of his style of coaching and since he has also played under Mourinho, his statement worth more than anything else.
Although, no one has time now to focus on what others are saying about the high profile signee for ManU since everyone is busy recalculating United fate in the upcoming season where they should deliver to prove there was something wrong with their former manager else Dutchman would get the opportunity to lambast club think tank for taking wrong decisions on key appointments. Anyways, what Ronald said about Mourinho and if has anything exclusive than the former ManU boss, Ronald said, “He is similar. Most of the time what I know — and it’s the same with Mourinho — you hate him or you love him. People run away with the impression of Mourinho and it’s the same with Van Gaal.
“There will always be players who are not playing who will dislike him. Always. But generally most of the players will for sure like Van Gaal, the way that he treated them and took his managing role in the team. (he) is very good. He can shape a team and go straight for results. He is like Van Gaal, a workaholic and prepares perfectly on how to win. Sometimes it is not pretty but he knows how to grind out wins. That is what you get.
“I sent a message, ‘Did you pack your bags already?’ and she said ‘Yes.’ It was on Sunday I think.”
Moreover, he as well talks about the possibility of few transfers to follow Mourinho to United including that of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he added, “I worry about Man United’s academy, can it have an affect on the players on the pitch? If you get a foreign legion again — results, prizes for winning, people forget that — but people love to see their own youth coming up and being the local hero. And that is the risk when you take Mourinho.”
