Ronaldo cut short an interview when asked about his contract extension for Real Madrid

July 7, 2015 by 888Scoreonline

If you are a starlet playing for a big side, it does not mean life will be easier for you, though, you would enjoy best perks of being heartthrob of million of fans but this is also true that media would follow each of your failure more than your successes. Real Madrid is one such side who is known for throwing unaccounted money on players of its liking and when they hired Manchester United’s forward Ronaldo, Portuguese became the world’s priciest player of that time. The 30-year-old has since been proving why he should be given that quantum of money; in fact, he is among the few ones who are still capable of drawing much more salary than earlier. This is not a news that Real star is in tremendous form these days with several unparalleled feats to his name but this is also true he is having some contract troubles with the club bosses and this problem started getting the media space when Bernabeu side hired Bale at another record breaking price. Since, Bale failed miserably to live up to the expectorations and Portuguese is still in his finest form, it is obvious he would expect much more than his colleague, but for some reasons, this is not being done by the club bosses and this is the reason Player of the Year does not prefer to talk about his salary or contract.

This is something that we saw when he was having an interview. Everything was fine until reporter was asking him about the new coach but when he started discussing other players who could soon move to his former side Manchester United, she showed his intolerance and even removed his earpiece when asked “Your contract is up in 2018. Any thoughts?”

Let’s start from the beginning, he first gave a confident reply about his new coach Rafa Benitez and said, “I never worked with him before, but he is an experienced manager. Let’s see what’s going to happen. Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world. It’s always a challenge to be there — players, managers — but I will love it to work with him. Let’s see if we win some important titles. I’m quite confident and look forward to that.” Moreover, he as well talked about Steven Gerrard‘s move to LA Galaxy and supported his decision to move out of England but did not react when asked to reveal his plans after remaining three years of his contract. His premature end of the interview is now being highlighted by every news daily making it sure he would be having some serious troubles with club bosses.
