Ronaldo doesn’t want to rejoin Manchester United

July 6, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Cristiano Ronaldo

If we find out who has been the hottest news maker this summer after Neymar, Ronaldo would definitely be the runner up coz he has several versions of his future playing destinations. Earlier, he loudly tweeted that he has not signed any contract extension with Real along with revealing his soft side for former EPL club Manchester United. Now, one of the finest strikers in contemporary soccer is saying that he doesn’t want to go back to England at this stage of his career as he sees his future with Spanish club. Notably, Ronaldo made a record transfer from United to Real Madrid back in 2009 at a £80 million fee; he has since scored 201 goals in 199 played matches for los Blancos. Actually, his differences with Real came into the limelight when La Liga club did not offer him an extension besides severe media pressure, and some even said that Real wants to get rid of its ‘White Elephant’ which scratched the striker even more. He later made several conflicting statements revealing different sides of the story but at the end he kept playing for Spanish giant against along with looking for an opportunity to return to United.

United’s new manager David Moyes has now clearly ruled out any initiative to sign their striker back in the team. When explicitly asked about Ronaldo in a press meet, former Everton manager replied, “I would never speak about players at other football clubs, because I think it’s wrong. It’s not my style. The people who know me from Merseyside will tell you that. I’ll try to answer as many questions as I can. But when people are under contract at other clubs, it’s wrong to talk about them. But this club are always interested in the best players.”

Similarly, Ronaldo also hinted to keep playing at Bernabéu, he said, “It is not the day to speak about my future. I am going to have time to do that before the preseason. Basically it is now time to rest after 10 months of a long season. I enjoy playing there, I have been playing in Spain for four years so I want to continue there.

“For my national team, I hope that we can qualify for the World Cup – it will be a big goal for us – so we are focused on that and I am looking forward to being in the World Cup. Of course, I always look forward to getting better and better throughout the season and this year is going to be the same. I will try to be focused all the time, to win La Liga and to win the Champions League like we always do.”
