Two big stars always share a different kind of relationship which sometimes meant to be a cold war and often hungry media guys look around for any interesting secret about their so called rivalry. Recently, some media sources claim that Cristiano Ronaldo apparently recalls his Argentine opponent with a pet name. Though, no one initially believed over this assertion but when this news spread like a wild fire, we decided to dig into it and find out what the reality is. First, we would try to find out why they both suddenly came into the headlines for non-sporting reasons, actually, recently, both the star forwards broke unprecedented records: Ronaldo halted Messi’s three consecutive Ballon d’Or run while Messi became the highest La Liga scorer. According to a book named ‘Messi’, Ronaldo often recalls Messi with a vulgar pet name – something that Portuguese is now denying. The excerpt of the book as published in a leading daily mention, “Ronaldo, perhaps as a symptom of the immaturity that marks so many footballers, thinks it necessary to put on a brave face in front of his team-mates, not be scared of Messi and to rise to the challenge. All very macho; all very false.
“And that is why, according to some Real Madrid players, CR7 has a nickname for him: ‘m—–f—–‘; and if he sees someone from the club speaking to Leo, he also ends up being baptised ‘m—–f—–‘.”
Without wasting any time, Real Madrid star denied of any truth behind this claim and issued a denial statement via his Facebook account, he mentioned, “This is absolutely false and I have assured my lawyer takes action to sue those responsible. I have the utmost respect for all my professional colleagues, and Messi is obviously no exception.”
Nonetheless what they fate of this controversy would be, majority of the fans assume none of the payers can be so harsh to anyone , hence this is nothing but a media made story or something that is included in the book intentionally to get the publicity ahead of its official release. On the other side, Messi has until not commented over the reports, maybe no one expects him to reply over these kinds of reports.
