Ronaldo wants £400k a week?

October 1, 2012 by 888Scoreonline

Cristiano Ronaldo

Portuguese star forward player and Real Madrid’s in-contract Cristiano Ronaldo is all set to become the first in history footballer to earn more than £400,000 per week if growing humors are to be believed. In a recent development, Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his sadness, and many link his sadness with his lesser salary he is getting from the club at this time. Notably, he was the highest paid earner in 2009 when Real Madrid singed him at £200,000 per week, but later, he could not prove his best form and other players overtook him gradually. For now, other players, like Didier Drogba, Wayne Rooney, Samuel Eto’o, and Neymar are all earning much more than him. So, behind the scene events are so developing that there is a newsflash everywhere that the player has asked club to double his salary. Recently, other high paying clubs have shown interest in him so his fortune at Bernabeu may soon be decided with a probable price hike – that could be as high as record £400,000!

Notably, Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro aka Cristiano Ronaldo is the captain of Portuguese national football team, and he was the world’s highest priced football player when he was sold by Manchester United to Real Madrid. Even at Real Madrid, he becomes the world’s most earned soccer player, so his value well deserves with the changing climate in soccer world where millions of dollars are fast changing their hands every other day. Performance wise, he has many spectacular records in his name including being the higher goal soccer for real Madrid in a session and highest striking rate per minute in La Liga league of Spain.

His sadness and its virtue

Recently, Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his sadness which he later refused to relate with his financial deal, but many still believe his current salary is the cause of concern for him and if he gets his desired increment he can find a moral boost and his rebirth at the club. His current contract with Real Madrid would expire in 2015, but his buyout clause would not defy his chances of being bought out by other clubs if they are willing to offer him what he wants at the moment. Moreover, behind the scene a bargaining is under process and we may get to see something pleasant for the star Portuguese forward player which could help him sustain his current highest paid soccer player’s record for few more years.
