Luis Suarez is sailing in a pendulum these days where he sees himself in the den of Arsenal at one point and suddenly dwells to Liverpool where he has signed a contract to stay until 2016. Actually, the things have gone beyond his dimensions and that is why he has now hinted to move to court to seek arbitration on his long running dispute with Liverpool. Notably, currently, he is serving a ten matches’ suspension for his inhuman act against Chelsea player so the time needed on these legal matters would not effect on his matches’ count, but he desperately needs a third party intervention to stabilize his future either at Anfield or at Emirates Stadium. Arsenal has bade two times for the Uruguayan footballer; perhaps their second bid was smarty put on to trigger a contract clause whereby Suarez becomes entitled to initiate his transfer or hold talks with his aspiring buyers, but nothing seems to be working either for player or for Arsenal, coz Brendan Rodgers has rejected both of their bids and again ascertains that Suarez is not available for sale. As far contract clause is concerned, Liverpool’s legal team has confirmed that clause only enables player to know about any bid beyond forty million and they have already informed about Arsenal’s second bid for £40,000,001.
On the other side, Suarez is committed to leave Anfield whether his club releases him or not, and more importantly, close sources have also informed that he is seeking legal advices for an option to pursue court intervention. In any case, he doesn’t want to lose the matter if he eventually decides to seek ‘other’ path and that is why he is doing his homework before he does anything on the paper.
It has just been one year he signed a contract extension for another four years whereby he committed to stay with The Reds until 2016 and it was only the last May when he signaled through an interview that he is looking for an alternative home. Since, he has also not submitted a formal transfer request; club manager has an upper hand in securing him. Interestingly, he was welcomed warmly by a large number of fans when he made a public appearance during Steven Gerrard’s testimonial against Olympiacos on Saturday, but he hardly accepted fans applauds which shows the level of gratitude he owns to Liverpool now.
