Brazilian professional footballer Alexandre Pato, who used to play for Serie A club AC Milan, has agreed to make a shift to his native Brazilian club Corinthians for a €15m price tag. Despite his recurrent injuries and almost absence from the field in last 12 months, Brazilian could finally manage to seal a deal for his homeland club. The deal, which is reportedly signed on Thursday night, is for 100% stake in the player that means, Milan will no longer have any share out of player’s market value. Both the clubs issued their statements post agreement: Corinthians said in its statement, “Corinthinans have acquired 100% of the right to Alexandre Pato. AC Milan and Brazil’s striker Alexandre Pato could make a shift from his existing club to newly crowned World Champions Corinthians. Milan’s CEO has confirmed of receiving an offer for both of Brazilian players Alexandre Pato and Robinho. He admitted that he would do everything he can to ensure at least Robinho stays with them. Furthermore, he also said that if, in case, they both decide to make a shift to their national club, Milan will not seek any replacement for them. Galliani told a Channel here in Milan that “An offer has arrived for Pato. Basically, in defence and midfield we will not be signing anyone and if Pato and Robinho remain - or if only one leaves - then we won’t bring in any replacements. “We believe the right number of strikers to have is five, as if two new ones arrive, then there won’t be space for M’Baye Niang.
