Barca to Play PSG, suspense over Messi

April 9, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

It is yet not cleared whether Messi will be a part of Barcelona for the coming showdown against Becks’ PSG ahead of its second leg of the Champions League quarterfinals on Wednesday. Messi has already missed Saturday’s Spanish league match against Mallorca due to a hamstring he got during 2-2- draw last week. Earlier, he was expected to recover by Wednesday, but there is no clear news from either Barca or Messi about whether he would be a part of the team or not. Notably, Barca won Saturday match with a crushing 5-0 margin without Messi; hence there is no point in assuming they can’t perform without Argentinian. Though, he participated in the training on Sunday in front of bunch of media personnel and even on Monday he was active in training sessions, yet Camp Nou club has kept his cards hidden until final match moments come in. If Messi does not play this match, Coach Tito Vilanova would surely like to repeat his squad that crushed Mallorca on Saturday; hence Fabregas is more likely … [Read more...]

Barcelona minus Messi scores ten on ten

April 8, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

It has always been unbelievable to see Barcelona without Messi, but the record breaker got a hamstring recently and could not play in the Saturday’s clash with Real Mallorca. This game was perhaps the first for Camp Nou club without Messi in the squad since 2010-11 seasons, and if this match was a test for rest of the teammates, they passed it with a ten on ten. Barca crushed their opponent with a 5-0 in the match and main contributor to its victory was Spanish footballer Cesc Fabregas who scored a brilliant hat trick to make it sure his team will comprehensively be ahead of other teams in the league. Actually, the absence of Messi worked well for other players, coz now they played without pressure of being underdog in front of Messi. So, this is being considered as a best discovery for Barca to prepare its second line of strikers alongside Messi. With a 5-0 humiliating victory, Barca maintained its 13-points lead over second placeholder Real Madrid and having eight games in the hand. … [Read more...]

David de Gea denies leaving United, praises Ferguson as manager

Spanish footballer David de Gea, who plays for Manchester United as a goalie, has denied all the rumors that he could leave United for a probable move to Barcelona. Recently, Barca seemed to be looking for a replacement for its keeper Victor Valdes, and David de Gea was the man it has shortlisted as a replacement, but Gea clearly put a dot on all the speculations that he has been given a lucrative deal package if he decides to leave Old Trafford. Perhaps, he reiterates that he has long term plans for United; hence there is no question of leaving it at the moment. Actually, his power play in last few matches attracted many potential buyers of him and that is why media started making assumptions that he would be the next to make a shift. David de Gea, indeed, is a great fan of United’s manager Sir Alex Ferguson and always praises his management style and how he unites all the players together ahead of a match despite players’ personal matters. Former Barcelona manager Guardiola spied his men via private detectives

February 28, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Every manager wants his team plays well in the field and tries to maintain decorum within the team by forcing players to follow his guidelines in or off the field. But former Barcelona manager Guardiola did something more surprising than others; he used private detectives to spy on his players. The news of using detective is being flashed by a Spanish digital newspaper that mentioned that he followed Gerard Pique via hired detectives when he started dating pop star Shakira. Moreover, Pique was not the only one who was being tracked by ‘someone’ coz there were others, like Ronaldinho, Deco, and Samuel Eto’o, as well in his list. Report says, he hired Metodo 3 to keep track on his main players from the period starting from 2008 to 2012. Report reads as, “The Metodo 3 detective agency spied on FC Barcelona players under orders from the then director of Security and now director general of Penitentiary Services for the Generalitat, Xavier Martorell.
