After months of homework and then placing two bids for the former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas, United is finally empty handed. Its long running affords to secure 26-year-old looks to be going in a vein as Barcelona has finally refused to listen to any offer from the EPL champions. This is rather a shock for the new United’s manager who was sure to secure the midfielder for upcoming English premier league season. This is probably the first time United fails to lure a club despite bidding twice within a month, but it looks uncertainty at Barcelona has gone by after the arrival of Gerardo Martino as the replacement of Tito Vilanova.
