Ronaldinho gets a national call for a friendlier

Ace Brazilian attacking midfielder Ronaldinho will again be seen running for his national team though in a friendlier against England at Wembley. The match is a part of English FA’s 150th year celebrations; hence it presumes to be a high profile match between two best soccer teams of contemporary football. Brazil’s reappointed coach Luiz Felipe Scolari announced the list for February 6 clash that includes many newcomers. Ronaldinho, 32, has not played any match for his national team since last one year; hence his much waited comeback will be an eye treat for his fans in England. One of the surprising events happened in the final of Copa Sudamericana between Sao Paulo and Tigre in Brazil where players and official of Tigre have claimed to be beaten up by security personnel on gun point, so they had to boycott the field after half time. When they did not come into the field post half session, match was called off, and Sao Paulo was awarded the trophy. The whole incident looks very strange from outside, in a country where soccer is a religion and especially in the final of a league, how can it be possible that players of a team are so beaten up? Juninho Overruled Doping Test Rules, Can Be Suspended for Two Years

The veteran Brazilian footballer, who was once known to be the dead ball specialist, can be barred from playing any match if allegations against him are proven. Reportedly, he has failed to go by the doping test rules after a match in Brazilian domestic league where, as tribunal says, he went straight to the locker room without undergoing a required doping test after a match against Ponte Preta on September 23. At the moment, all preliminary investigations have been concluded and final verdict is to be decided by tribunal on Friday at approximately 14.00, and if tribunal finds anything against him, he can either be punished or suspended for up to two years. Two more players are facing similar charges from the same match: one of them is Juan and other is goalkeeper Ricardo Berna. These three players did not undergo post match drugs control test which is a violation of Article 2.3 and 2.5 of the World Anti-Doping codes.
