Last few weeks were full of deeds for Spanish player Cesc Fabregas coz two of the top soccer clubs were virtually fighting to keep him. Though, he is in contract with Barcelona; United has long been keeping an eye on him, therefore they were also trying to bring him to England, but unfortunately, Barca did never ponder any of their sign-up attempts. Notably, EPL champions placed two bids for the player but none of them could see the light of the day coz they were rejected on the sport without given a second thought. Now, when it seems David Moyes has done his best to bring him to Old Trafford, Fabregas himself sprinkles salt on his wounds by saying he did never desire to leave Barcelona. This statement looks surprising and time specific coz earlier, when United has been placing bids, he did never come forward and say anything publically, but, now, when it is sure that he would not go anywhere, he is trying to convince his loyalty to bosses at Camp Nou. Blaugrana refuses to sell Fabregas at any price
After months of homework and then placing two bids for the former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas, United is finally empty handed. Its long running affords to secure 26-year-old looks to be going in a vein as Barcelona has finally refused to listen to any offer from the EPL champions. This is rather a shock for the new United’s manager who was sure to secure the midfielder for upcoming English premier league season. This is probably the first time United fails to lure a club despite bidding twice within a month, but it looks uncertainty at Barcelona has gone by after the arrival of Gerardo Martino as the replacement of Tito Vilanova. Fabregas has been a key contributor for Barcelona ever since he joined them back in 2011, he has since played 96 matches for the Spanish giant though he was seen mostly following other key players like Xavi and Andres Iniesta, and still he has ever been a worthy asset for La Liga champions. Barcelona vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu said during the … [Read more...]
Manchester United raises bid for Cesc Fabregas
Manchester United is known for not letting its desired players go away so easily, and that is why whenever a club refuses its deal request, it keeps adding more cherries to its offer until it gets what it wants. This is something that is happening with Spanish footballer Cesc Fabregas who is playing with Barcelona and reportedly they want to get rid of him. Earlier, United made a $25 million offer for the midfielder but when Barca asked for something more, United agreed to hike its paycheck to $30 million along with add-ons. Club executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is reportedly leading the negotiations and club manager Moyes only wants the end result in his favor. Notably, Moyes has become quite eager for more depth in his team ever since he joined the EPL champions; perhaps he has a long list of shortlisted players he wants into his army for the next EPL season. When asked about the status on Fabregas deal, the Scot said, “As I understand it, Ed had a response, We have made a second … [Read more...]
