Frank Lampard sets up new record, pushes Chelsea into Champions League
Chelsea’s midfielder Frank Lampard has achieved a milestone by becoming the highest goals’ scorer for his club beating Bobby Tambling's record of 202 goals. He also played the lead role in away match with Aston Villa on Saturday by scoring both goals for his side. His goals came on the right time coz Chelsea was trailing with 1-0 at one stage but when Lampard struck a goal in 61st minute and then a winner in the 88 minutes, it was confirmed that Blues would play in the Champions League. Messi – the name is enough. Against all the expectations, star Argentinian took part in the clash between Barcelona and PSG, though as a substitute, and helped his club end in a draw. Actually, the worth of Messi can easily be understood with the fact that he did not fire any goal nor hit any shot to the post yet only his presence was more than anything else on the field.
