Chelsea not giving up on Rooney

August 23, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

It is not necessary you always get success in hiring players of your choice in your first attempt, perhaps, sometimes, it can take as many as several attempts before you could finally convince other club to accept your bid. Chelsea is one such club who doesn’t easily give up on players of its choice and it holds true for United’s dissenting forward Wayne Rooney who has long been believed to leave EPL champions. If we look at some of his aspirants, Chelsea is the only club who has made two unsuccessful bids for him, yet they want to try once again to take their favorite player to Stamford Bridge. José Mourinho, the intelligent soccer mind, is known for calculating an exact time to place a bid and this time he wants to try his luck when they visit United’s hometown to play their next league match. Reportedly, United’s first league home match is expected to be a great opportunity for both sides to discuss the matter sitting on a live table. Looking at United’s response on last two bids, … [Read more...]

Suarez is considering legal options to force his exit

August 7, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Luis Suarez is sailing in a pendulum these days where he sees himself in the den of Arsenal at one point and suddenly dwells to Liverpool where he has signed a contract to stay until 2016. Actually, the things have gone beyond his dimensions and that is why he has now hinted to move to court to seek arbitration on his long running dispute with Liverpool. Notably, currently, he is serving a ten matches’ suspension for his inhuman act against Chelsea player so the time needed on these legal matters would not effect on his matches’ count, but he desperately needs a third party intervention to stabilize his future either at Anfield or at Emirates Stadium. Arsenal has bade two times for the Uruguayan footballer; perhaps their second bid was smarty put on to trigger a contract clause whereby Suarez becomes entitled to initiate his transfer or hold talks with his aspiring buyers, but nothing seems to be working either for player or for Arsenal, coz Brendan Rodgers has rejected both of their … [Read more...]

Manchester United again rejected Chelsea’s bid for Rooney

August 6, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Manchester United seems to be determined not to relieve its dissent striker Wayne Rooney coz it has again rejected an improved bid from striker’s charm Chelsea. Reportedly, the current amount being offered by the League club was £25m plus add-ons while they earlier offered around five million less for the 27-year-old forward. Actually, it seems to have become an ego issue now for EPL Champions coz they are trying to maintain their supremacy as far snatching key players from opponents are concerned hence they would not like to see others are doing the same to them. As far Rooney’s state of mind is concerned, he has long been expressed his desire to leave Old Trafford and his probable destinations include Stamford Bridge and an undisclosed Italian club. The rumors of him leaving the club were surfaced the earth back in 2010 when he himself admitted he wants to leave the club but suddenly he was given a five-year contract which is in force until 2015. I preferred Chelsea over United: Mourinho

June 16, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

It is a natural human phenomena that an individual habitually becomes loyal to someone he loves the most, it even holds true in professional soccer where top officials are always biased towards their favorite team irrespective of what other teams are willing to offer them or what would be their career prospects if they join someone else. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is one such person who has always been biased towards his London club. He, in fact, had to leave the club back in 2007 citing some misunderstandings with club owners, but still he always wanted to be at Stamford Bridge. Recently, his wish came true and he re-joined his ever wanted club on a four-year term, but now he revealed that he had several good offers from some top notch clubs but he picked Chelsea sidelining clubs like Manchester United. He claims; he knew well in advance that Sir Alex Ferguson is going to retire; perhaps he was being linked for a United’s makeshift by the media, but he rejected an offer to join EPL … [Read more...]

Chelsea sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Andre Schurrle

Jose Mourinho finally takes charge of Chelsea’s think-tank and starts signing his notable players. Germany international forward, Andre Schurrle, who has long been a favorite for the London club, is finally a man in the Blues. Notably, Chelsea’s earlier attempt to sign him could not materialize for some reasons but now new manager tries his best and used his negotiation skills to lure Bayer Leverkusen with a £18m paycheck which is much more than 22-year old forward had earlier demanded. The promising striker has a decent track record this season and scored 11 goals in 34 league games played for his German club Bayer Leverkusen. Moreover, with a third place in the league, Leverkusen has automatically qualified for the Championship league in Bundesliga. Actually, Schurrle had some talks with Chelsea last summer too but could not finalize the deal which he later regretted. For now, he will have to go through a medical test and probably some discussions for personal terms and then he can … [Read more...]
