In the transfer season, one more transfer has been taken place where Portland Timbers has reportedly acquired midfielder Diego Valeri as a designated player from Argentina’s first division Club Atletico Lanus. Since, this transfer is on loan, and especially as a designated player; his salary will not be counted under club’s overall salary ceiling. American professional football club Portland Timber can only use newly loaned player if he gets clearance to play in the United States which looks mare a formality now.
