Poland vs. England match to be played under closed roof

VS. The original world cup qualifier England vs. Poland match has been postponed for around 20 hours because of waterlogged pitch, and now, FA has confirmed that match could be played under closed roof’s atmosphere even if there is a bright sunshine everywhere in Warsaw! The decision for rescheduled match has already meant lots of troubles to fans from both sides, especially English fans who came along with their team to watch this match on Tuesday itself. Earlier, match could not kick off due to heavy water logging on the playground, and after examination, it was decided to postpone it rather cancelling altogether. Though, the roof was opened in-between to get the fresh air and let logged water dried out as early as possible. Shelvey Blisses his Maiden England Cap

Jonjo Shelvey, the Liverpool midfielder, has recently played as a second-half substitute for England and made his senior debut in an England’s world cup qualifier match against San Marino on Friday night. England thrashed San Marino by 5-0 in that match and Shelvey thinks he is lucky for the team. It would rather be a lucky day for him, coz he was not in the starting lineup, but, since Frank Lampard was injured, he got his dream call to play for England’s national team. Being a 20 years old starlet, he has been named Under-21 English team to play in European Championship against Serbia. During his one match showdown, he proved his competency to play an international level match and highly impressed Roy Hodgson. England has to play its next match against Poland on Tuesday. By then, Steven Gerrard will replace Shelvey as per defined English lineup. Though, Shelvey has made his first international appearance, yet he has to wait for more time for his second appearance. For now, he is … [Read more...]

Now a National Football Center in England Too

After losing its touch in international soccer field, England’s soccer think tanks have taken an initiative to improve their inside infrastructure that could develop young soccer talent to serve England on an international level. England has lost its reign as a top international soccer team in recent years; hence it has now decided to follow the same path as France and Spain did in recent past to improve their soccer level, i.e., England, now, to have a National Football center that is built with an investment of one million pound precisely. Prince William and his wife, the duo who are known for their sport’s love, opened the multimillion football facility. This facility has recently been used by young soccer players on test basis, but for the first time, this has been made available for senior players formally. Actually, this is the official launch of a highly ambitious project by Football founders. England has to face San Marino and Poland in its world cup qualifiers in next two … [Read more...]

Jose Mourinho to stay with Real Madrid until his contract expires

One of the best soccer coaches Jose Mourinho has cleared all the reports and openly said that he would continue serving Real till his existing contract doesn’t expire, i.e., till 2016. Recently there were some rumors that highly acclaimed Portuguese coach may soon be found associated with other clubs who have recently been approaching him, but Mourinho is quite happy with his run with Real Madrid, so there is no reality in surrounding stories about his departure. He said, “I don't think about other clubs, especially as I have a four-year contract with Real, I signed it and when I signed it, I signed it because I wanted to be at Real Madrid at this period of my career. I am not thinking about another club.” A few days ago, he gave an interview to CNN where he told about his desire to return to England once his contract with Real expires, he also expressed his deep grief over his social network life where he and his family members often get abused from peoples, and that’s why he … [Read more...]

John George Terry, the former captain of England’s national football team and Chelsea has decided to finally quite the international football over his racial criticisms in the recent past. Considering his age of just 31 years, England has lost an elite member of its national team and all coz of his own on/off field behaviors. John Terry has several charges of racial remarks and one of them was against Anton Ferdinand in a match between Chelsea and Queens Park Rangers last October. Though, he was cleared by the court for said comment in July this year, but another similar case is yet to start in Football Association’s disciplinary hearing.
