No question of doubting Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar: Luis Enrique

Barcelona has ever been one of the toughest sides to overcome in Europe and it is also true that this club has always had the best mix of finest soccer talent. Right now, they are enjoying the services of one of the most lethal trio in contemporary soccer comprising Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar. These three players have proved in almost every match why they can never be deceived by opponents thanks to the fine tuning they enjoy inside the field. Having a dependence on few concentrated players also has a drawback that is if somehow they fail to deliver in any crucial game, they are put in the air and lambasted for not creating opportunities for other players. This season when Barca looks not to be in its best form, fans are pointing their eyebrows over the trio silently questioning why their side is not on the top of the table. Club manager Luis Enrique is the first one to defend his players and refuses to blame the trio for not taking the top leaderboard spot. Recently, … [Read more...]

Messi calls off from International soccer; Maradona urges to play until 2018 World Cup

While many call it a shocking news, many take it a perfect opportunity for Lionel Messi to retire from international soccer after his failure to score in a penalty shootout playing for his national side in Copa America final against Chile. It was precisely fourth major final loss for La Albiceleste in nine years and second to Chile, in fact, ever since Messi has been a part of Argentine national squad, they could only win one Olympic gold at the 2008 Games and experts are calling it a big failure for the high profile player to copy his club performances playing for the national side. Likewise, many are taking it as a proof why most of the starlets avoid playing international games citing the money involved in club soccer and as far Messi is concerned, unlike his international feats, he has been among the most successful playing for his club Barcelona where he won as many as won eight La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues in his glorious club career. Anyways, after he announced … [Read more...]

November 22, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

This season may not be a good one for ace Argentine striker Lionel Messi, but last year, his counting of league goals was the highest in Europe, hence he wins his third Golden Shoe trophy for his excellent performance in 2012-13. This would be an achievement for Barcelona star as he has recently been widespread criticized for not able to attain his fitness. This is the second consecutive year he won this prestigious award: his first one was for 2009-10 when he netted 34 goals and then in 2011-12 for a 50 goals haul. Last season, he netted 46 goals more than anyone else in the Europe and helped Barcelona win La Liga trophy back from Real Madrid. Like his many other achievements, he again became the only player to win three Golden Shoe trophies. June 29, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Argentinian captain Lionel Messi is not a kind of person who comments on any relationship in the making or retiring, in fact; he is rarely seen making an avowal about someone who has been his close rival in the past. Real’s former manager Mourinho is one such personality who has always been in the list of Messi’s most admirable individuals, and this time, Mourinho has made a crucial move from Real to his former club Chelsea.
