Manchester City chief executive wants to win five trophies in five years
Manchester City has been trying to show its optimistic approach towards future games ever since it fired its manager for not securing their EPL title. Roberto Mancini, who mentored the club for three and a half years, faced the heat after shadow performance in the FA Cup final and in the EPL where it ended with a long gap of eleven points from United. Current City chief executive Ferran Soriano, who took over from Garry Cook back in August 2012, is now in charge until City finds its new manager, and according to him, City would now prepare to win at least five trophies in next five years. Sir Alex Ferguson stands by Roberto Mancini
Manchester United and Manchester City are the two biggest rivals of contemporary soccer and their managers are also known for their aggressive remarks about each other whenever they get an opportunity to. Mario Balotelli threatens to walk off if racially abused ever again
Former Manchester City striker, 22-year-old, Mario Balotelli finally comes into the news after missing the headlines for more than weeks, but this time, he has done something which is not completely wrong. Actually, three AC Milan’s players were subjected to racial chanting in the last match between AC Milan and Roma on Sunday and that chanting continued even after an official appeal, perhaps match had to be stopped for two minutes to tackle the situation. Mario Balotelli was the one of three Milan players who were the targets of that racial abuse, and now the striker has come forward against these incidents and warned the fans to walk off the field if he is ever subjected to a racial chant again. Joleon Lescott wants another deal with Manchester City
Joleon Lescott joined EPL club Manchester City back in 2009 at a hefty fee of around 22 million, he has since been a regular part for the FA cup finalists, but as of now, his current contract is going to expire soon; hence he is quite skeptical about whether he will be offered another deal by his club or not.
