How Premier league’s matches leave their impact on fans’ mind was shown on Sunday after Liverpool and Manchester United match where Manchester United defeated Liverpool by a decisive last minute goal through a penalty rewarded by referee Mark Halsey to Robin van Persie. This penalty changed the game in Manchester United’s favor and Liverpool lost another match only to bring it down to eighteenth spot on leaderboard. Manchester United, with this win, secured its second place on the ranking table. Nonetheless, the match is more known for the fans retaliation to referee’s penalty decision which caused Liverpool a match.
