Soccer is only a game of sport, but for many it is much more than mare a sport, and that is why soccer fans across the world found losing control whenever their teams lose an important match. We have seen many cases of desperate retaliations from crowd, including few which were very serious and a threat to internal homeland security. Recently, Newcastle fans showed their aggression which resulted in a massive violence in the ground. This violence was perhaps not the first last week, coz Millwall fans also displayed how short tempered they are when it comes to accepting a defeat. Though, the violence was criticized by everyone including English FA, and now Newcastles has asked for a life ban for all those fans who found responsible for such a massive ferocity which injured many fans including a bloody woman and few police officers. Until now, 29 fans have been arrested for their connection with the violence; more arrests are likely to happen in coming days once police examine all the … [Read more...]
Now Newcastle Fans retaliated with violence after defeat
In less than 24 hours, English shows another example of how short tempered their fans can be when it comes to accepting a defeat. The defeat brought Newcastle into the relegation cap at EPL while Sunderland’s first triumph in thirteen years at St James' Park gave them a chance to survive at the league. The victory is more a result of hard work done by manager Paolo Di Canio who revived the team to show what they can actually achieve. No Actions against Ferguson over in-field confrontation
When Manchester United defeated Newcastle by 4-3 at Old Trafford on the Boxing Day, it was more than a flawless display of soccer desperation where Red Devils showed why they are on the top of EPL’s leaderboard. But that match also became famous over United boss Sir Alex Ferguson’s confrontation with referee Mike Dean, not once, but several times. Actually, the match itself was a nail biting until the finish, and United had to come from the back three times to secure their top position in the final tally. Indeed, if there would have been anybody else who have invaded the pitch in the way Ferguson did post lunch session, he would definitely be subjected to FA’s disciplinary actions, but some top and respected soccer officials enjoy having some perks of esteem whereby some of their tiny offences get excused by everybody. Here too, Mike Dean did not mention anything about his confrontation in his match report; hence FA has now confirmed that no action will be initiated against Devil’s … [Read more...]
