Senegalese footballer, who has been a free agent for quite some time, has finally got a job - though for a short term only. Birmingham City Football Club has recently confirmed his signing for around a month’s period. Diop was engaged in training of Blues for last few weeks, and he now decided to shift to Birmingham. For that, he has already passed his fitness test and applied for a working Visa, and if he could get one; he will surely be seen playing for Birmingham City for at least one month. Earlier in his career, Diop has already played in three seasons for Fulham from 2004 to 2007 and then he moved to Portsmouth in 2008. He made Portsmouth won FA cup that season. On international level too, he has represented his nation four times in Africa Cup and contributed Senegal’s journey to the quarter finals of 2002 FIFA world cup held in South Korea and Japan.
