French club Paris St-Germain is always known for throwing exaggerating figures for players of its liking, we have seen in the past how it snatched some of the best talents in the business from others. This time, it was the turn of Napoli’s striker Edinson Cavani, who has reportedly signed a five-year deal for French champions at £55m figure. Manchester City and PSG are under scanner for financial fair play violations
Two money rolling clubs Manchester City and Paris St Germain are under scanner of UEFA for their misconducts over financial fair play policy compliances. UEFA, reportedly, has warned these clubs to prove they are not cheating via inflating their income by signing sponsorship deals with owners’ associates companies. Notably, both clubs have signed some big sponsorship deals last year, and most of these deals were belonged to their owners’ sister concerns, which means, according to UEFA, these clubs are fictitiously inflating their income to gain more buying power in transfer windows, which further lays unfair playing field for others. UEFA reports these presumed violations in its annual report published recently where it suspected there are around 46 clubs covering 22 European countries who would need to prove their money flow in the past year. Dinamo Zagreb’s fans are banned to cheer their club in Paris
Dinamo Zagreb’s fans are banned by French Government from attending a Champions League match between Dinamo Zagreb and Paris St Germain scheduled to play on coming Wednesday. This decision is taken by French Interior Minister Manuel Valls who has a reason to believe that if these fans are allowed; they can make a disturbance in one way or other. Perhaps, Croatian authorities themselves have provided them an information about a gang named ‘Blue Bad Boys’ whose members have planned to travel and attend the match without tickets and with unfold intensions. Valls also explained the ban period which is from November 6 at midnight to November 7 at noon. Since, the so called gang has the history of violence in many previous matches; French government doesn’t want to take any risk that could cause a danger on its civilians or property.
