Spanish footballer Thiago Alcantara, who plays for Spanish FC Barcelona as a midfielder, is all set to miss the field for at least 8 weeks due to his knee injury he got in the last match between Barcelona and Sevilla which was won by Barcelona by 3-2. The deepness of said injury was informed by the club through its statement on its website where it mentioned, “Thiago will be out for eight weeks after tests confirmed damaged ligament in his right knee. The player will undergo conservative treatment, with doctors estimating he'll be out for up to eight weeks.” The 21 years old starlet will surely miss for next two months when Barcelona will be facing Celtic.
