President of UEFA and that of FIFA seem to be standing against each other over the issue that where EURO 2020 championship league will be played. While, FIFA president has a view to host this mega sporting event in twenty nations, Platini has different views on that. Blatter recently gave an interview to a sport magazine where he said that UEFA is lacking ‘heart and soul’ to see Championship league become a multinational event. In respond, UEFA president said in an another interview that there are 53 football associations under UEFA and 52 out of them have agreed on FIFA’s plan to host a multinational event except Turkey, and now Blatter’s comment questioning their intention is actually an attack on 52 football associations who have agreed upon the concept. Thirteen cities to host Euro 2020 games
In line with the expectations, UEFA has finally announced that Euro 2020 games will a multi-nation event wherein thirteen cites would host the event matches. Moreover, since every country will only allow providing one venue, there would at least be 13 countries who will participate in the mega European soccer event. The debate has long been on the cart that such an event should expand its reach beyond few dominated countries, perhaps UEFA president has recently said about his wish to make such an improvement in its structure, and finally his dreams seem to be a reality now. The details of the 2020 event are announced by the UEFA secretary general, Gianni Infantino, who also added that semifinals and finals would be held at the same venue and probably for the first time host will not qualify automatically. Malaga to fight its ‘unjustified’ ban over unpaid bills

Hearts fined £4000 by UEFA for pitch invasion by fans
In yet another incident of pitch invasion by supporters cost Hearts £4000 via a fine imposed by Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) after a group of supporters broke the barricade and entered into the field at Anfield. These supported are said to be cheering a goal by Hearts against Liverpool in Europe League play-off clash between these two teams. The governing body took this matter very seriously and issued a fine for the incident that took place on August 30.
