Toni Kroos praises Real Madrid as a whole especially Ronaldo

October 12, 2014 by 888Scoreonline

Big teams are not big only coz they are having some of the finest talents in contemporary soccer but coz they carry a unique form of confidence that strive each teammate to give his best and Spanish giant Real Madrid is undoubtedly one of them. Almost every top notch Real player has said this off late and now it’s time for the new entrant Toni Kroos who just switched from German side Bayern Munich after months of link-up news. The first thing he observed at Santiago Bernabéu is the positive energy within each player that naturally transforms from one to another during a game. I’m not trying to be a spiritual leader but this is what German teammate was meant to say when he said he saw unparalleled level of spirit with his new side. However, he did not forget to praise Ronaldo for his best form and style of playing and called him the greatest player in the world at the moment. As far talent is concerned, Kroos finds no big difference over here to what he has been used to play with but the difference lies in the insides of each player and how they convert it into their gameplay.

He openly marked Ronaldo as the key player he infatuated with the most while adding about team as a whole he said, “I’m used to the feeling of playing in a team with high individual quality. Only the names are different at Real. Everyone accepts his teammates here. The team spirit is huge.” Kroos played sixty seven games last season which is way more than any other German player, and even in Europe, only Spain’s Koke played more games than him. His consistency is impressive considering the workload every player has to pass through today. He explained it as, “In my opinion, the workload is too high,” Kroos said. “Especially for the national team players, who also play in Europe with their clubs. It’s not a coincidence that so many players have suffered injuries in the past two months. And we are not talking about strains, we are talking about severe injuries — muscle tears.

“I am of the opinion that there are too many games and too little breaks. And I don’t say that to go on holidays. The best example is the NBA, with high intensity and long breaks. During the season, the NBA teams play every three days. That’s a lot, and they also travel far. But from the end of May until October they have their break.”
