As we are approaching summer transfer window, every side is gearing up to bring best players of the world into its final eleven and when it comes to lure the player, English clubs come on the top hence we see most number of transfers happening in the English premiere league. Anyways, Arsenal is one such side who, though delivered brilliance in the last season, yet missed the title a bit and the side they missed the title to was none other than Leicester City who was the surprised winner of 2016-17 English season. Leicester’s 29-year-old English forward Jamie Vardy is one such player who is possibly looking for an Emirate move. Although nothing has until been sealed on the paper yet rumors have recently been in the air suggesting French national is keen to play for Arsenal in the season coming ahead. Looking at his serious interest in the side, Emirate bosses are also willing to trigger his transfer clause with a reported £20m offer to the Foxes. Likewise, King Power Stadium side has also not given up on keeping their best player with them and they are also having secret meets with the player to convince him playing for them in the next season as well.
Knowingly, Vardy has been the top performer for Leicester last year with as many as 24 goals in all competitions making him one of most aspiring player this year.
Another Arsenal player Olivier Giroud has revealed that Vardy is very interested in playing for them and since he has been closed to the Frenchman, his statement is more reliable than other sources and what this 29-year-old said after France 3-0 win over Scotland on Saturday night, is, “I have been told that Jamie wants to join us and it’s very good news for us. I think we can be complimentary and that’s all I can say. He’s a fantastic player, so it’s good news for us.
“As I said in the past I am happy with competition. We have always had fantastic strikers at Arsenal and I want the best for this club. Hopefully he is going to help us win this title. The boss wanted to sign at least one or two strikers, so I expected a top striker and I think it will benefit the club and hopefully he is going to score a lot of goals like he did at Leicester.”
